Hungarian Students Join Workers to Blast Proposed Law to Increase Overtime
This week we share an article describing the protests by students and workers in Hungary against what they are calling a “slave law” – this new law allows companies to force up to 400 hours of overtime per year. Right here in NY, Governor Cuomo is forcing home attendants to work 24 hour days, or 24-hour shifts for 5-6 days a week. That’s up to 104 hours of overtime per week.
